    In this demo, we will show SGSDesigner, the ODESGS Environment user interface. ODESGS Environment (the realization of the ODESGS Framework [1]) is an environment for supporting both a) the annotation of pre-existing Grid Services(GSs) and b) the design of new complex Semantic Grid Services(SGSs) in a (semi) automatic way. In the demo we will focus in the annotation of a WSRF GS, using the annotation process proposed by the ODESGS Framework

    An analogue of the Wedderbur principal theorem (WPT) is considered for finite dimensional Jordan superalgebras A with solvable radical N, such that N^2=0 and A/N is isomorphic to Josp_n|2m(F), where F is an algebraicallly closed field of characteristic zero.     Lubrication of DLC Coatings with Two Tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate Anion-Based Ionic Liquids

    The lubrication of a Cr-DLC coating with ethyl-dimethyl-2-methoxyethylammonium tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluoropho-sphate [(NEMM)MOE][FAP] and 1-butyl-1-methylpyrro-lidinium tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate [BMP] [FAP] ionic liquids (ILs) as 1 wt% additives to a polyalphaolefin (PAO 6) was studied. Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) was also used as reference in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the ILs. Reciprocating ball-on-plate tribological tests at loads of 20 and 40 N were performed. The results showed that both ILs exhibited a friction reduction, especially at the lowest load tested. Antiwear properties were also improved; the PAO 6 + 1% [BMP][FAP] mixture was slightly better, close to the values for PAO 6 + 1% ZDDP. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis indicated that the additive–surface interaction was responsible for the tribological improvement

    On algebraic classification of quasi-exactly solvable matrix models

    We suggest a generalization of the Lie algebraic approach for constructing quasi-exactly solvable one-dimensional Schroedinger equations which is due to Shifman and Turbiner in order to include into consideration matrix models. This generalization is based on representations of Lie algebras by first-order matrix differential operators. We have classified inequivalent representations of the Lie algebras of the dimension up to three by first-order matrix differential operators in one variable. Next we describe invariant finite-dimensional subspaces of the representation spaces of the one-, two-dimensional Lie algebras and of the algebra sl(2,R). These results enable constructing multi-parameter families of first- and second-order quasi-exactly solvable models. In particular, we have obtained two classes of quasi-exactly solvable matrix Schroedinger equations.Comment: LaTeX-file, 16 pages, submitted to J.Phys.A: Math.Ge

    A Framework for Design and Composition of Semantic Web Services

    Semantic Web Services (SWS) are Web Services (WS) whose description is semantically enhanced with markup languages (e.g., OWL-S). This semantic description will enable external agents and programs to discover, compose and invoke SWSs. However, as a previous step to the specification of SWSs in a language, it must be designed at a conceptual level to guarantee its correctness and avoid inconsistencies among its internal components. In this paper, we present a framework for design and (semi) automatic composition of SWSs at a language-independent and knowledge level. This framework is based on a stack of ontologies that (1) describe the different parts of a SWS; and (2) contain a set of axioms that are really design rules to be verified by the ontology instances. Based on these ontologies, design and composition of SWSs can be viewed as the correct instantiation of the ontologies themselves. Once these instances have been created they will be exported to SWS languages such as OWL-S
